The book is well put together, easy to read, contains captivating pictures of delicious food, and there is something for just about every occasion! The book also reads very well on the Kindle app for Android, making it convenient to read the recipe while cooking. Unlike most cookbooks, it has just enough "fluff" and doesn't distract from the recipes provided. Quick, short, and to the point. I've been thinking about adding in more homemade and vegetarian recipes into my diet, both for healthier options but also cause the economy has really shrunk my paycheck.This title caught my eye and I figured Id give it try. I'm glad I did because I found more than a few dishes here that I will be adding to my rotation like the Sticky Orange Cake with Marmalade Glaze and the Sunflower Oat Bars. A few had some ingredients I hadn't heard of, ("Za'atar"? "Garam marsala?") but thats probably cause Im still new to cooking for myself. The pictures made me instantly hungry.
I have a guilty pleasure for meat, but that doesn't mean I only eat meat. I look to Vegans for the creative ways to make healthy food taste good because healthy food is all Vegans know. It's important to me to eat clean and incorporate quality food into my daily meals. All of us require the healthy foods that are in this cook book, no matter our diet style. Can't wait to try the Apple muffins and Avocado Lime Black beans!
Not a vegan, but I will admit that, if I were, I would be willing to give these dishes a try. Although a few recipes appear to be more tedious than others, why wouldn't I want to try a dessert that only needs one ingredient (One-ingredient ice cream) or some of the other dishes that minimal prep steps. Personally, I think some of these recipes may be fitting for the non-vegan as well. Totally worth the try for the person choosing to explore this lifestyle.

E) I thought the spring rolls sounded great but the picture was of a shrimp spring roll? Not the herb and veg recipe. Which lead me down the slippery slope of disbelieving most of the pictures.
Great for people on the go, really came in handy. I'm not a vegan/vegetarian but I have been dipping my toes in the water so to speak.This book of recipes has been perfect in that regard. I really enjoyed this as the recipes are straight foreward and easy to understand.I would reccomend this to anyone who is interested in trying to eat healthy, thinking of changing to veganism, or already on their way. Give it a read I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I did.
